Emergency Services
Save yourself the time and hassle of sitting in the hospital’s emergency department. We are able to care for most minor emergencies in the office. If your child has suffered a minor emergency, you may call our office first and we will arrange for him/her to be seen as soon as possible for evaluation and treatment.
Suturing
Save yourself from time and hassle of sitting in an ER. We are able to suture most of the more common lacerations in the office on an emergent basis. If your child should suffer a laceration that needs to be closed you may call our office immediately and we will arrange with you the appropriate time to close the wound in our office.
Fractures
We are able to manage most fractures without a trip to the emergency department. Upon notifying our office, we will arrange for you to be seen in the office quickly for an evaluation. We will then coordinate x-rays and a referral to an orthopedist if necessary.
Other Emergencies
For other emergency situations such as head trauma, falls, burns, etc., we encourage you to call our office first as we are often able to care for these situation in the office and you can save yourself time and aggravation by avoiding the emergency department. In instances when the injury is more serious or extensive, our staff can facilitate the process of getting your child the appropriate care from a specialist or the hospital’s emergency department.
