The Flu Vaccine
This year there will be one flu vaccine that will protect against both the H1N1 virus and the ”regular” flu virus. We will have both the nasal vaccine (FluMist) and the “regular” shot available. For information on who is eligible for FluMist, please visit the CDC Web site.
Who can get the flu shot from us? How much does it cost?
We are happy to provide flu shots to all of our patients, parents, grandparents, caretakers, and anyone else interested. For all of our patients and for non-patients with PPO insurance, we will bill your insurance. You simply need to make your co-pay.
For non-patients with HMO insurance, or patients without insurance, the cash price is $25 for the flu shot and $40 for Flumist.

Flu Shot Clinic Dates, Days, and Times
We will have flu shot clinics on the following dates and times:
From Tuesday, September 20th through Thursday, November 17th:
Tuesday afternoons 2 pm- 4 pm
Wednesday mornings 8 am-10:30 am
Thursday afternoons 2 pm- 4 pm
Saturday clinics (9 am- 11 am):
October 8th and 22nd
November 5th and 19th
How the Flu Shot Clinics Work
1. You must call in advance to schedule a particular day and 2-hour block (for example October 13 between 2-4pm).
2. You may arrive anytime within that two hour time block to receive your flu shot.
We expect to have enough for everyone. While we are not expecting any shipping delays this year, we may need to delay some dates if our supply does not arrive as expected. You will be notified via email if that is the case.
NOTE: We will not accept walk-ins for flu shot clinics.
